ROSMINI CRICKET 2026

Cricket has been regarded as a top summer sport at Rosmini College throughout the College's history.  The College has produced some fine international cricketers including New Zealand representatives Martin Snedden, Chris Pringle, and Chris Drum. 

The College has outstanding Cricket facilities including three Cricket fields and a three-lane outdoor nets. Plans are in progress for indoor nets at Rosmini premises.

Rosmini College enters teams into College Sports secondary school competitions and tournaments, arranges inter-school fixtures and facilitates development opportunities. 

Regular, weekly cricket is delivered by the College Sport competitions for Seniors and Juniors. Players enjoy a comprehensive season of cricket between College Sports competitions, Rosmini Cricket and the available representative pathways.

There are 3 different cricket pathways available at Rosmini College: Performance, Development, and Participation. Details on these pathways are as below.

TEAMS

  • 1st XI Boys (Saturdays 10.30am-5.30pm 

  • 2nd XI Boys (Saturdays 12.30pm – 6pm 

  • 3rd XI Boys (Wednesdays 4.30pm – 6.30pm

  • Colts 1 (Saturdays 12.30pm -6pm)

  • Colts 2 (Saturday 12.30pm – 6pm)

  • Y7/Y8 teams – Zonal teams

Match Day Uniform (All Teams):

All teams are required to play in full cricket whites.Top: Rosmini White Polo. Bottoms: Plain white cricket trousers.

Training Uniform:

1st XI, 2nd XI & Colts 1:  Blue Polo and Blue Rosmini Shorts

.3rd XI, Morning T20 & Colts 2:  Standard School PE Uniform.

  • 2017 – Gillette Cup (National 1st XI Championship) Runners up

SEASON DETAILS

  • The cricket year is played during term 1 and term 4.​​​​​​​

  • Mid-week T20 tournament - Wednesday after school during term 1.
